INSTALLATION GUIDE & PRECAUTIONS

1. Positioning: Safely hoist the vehicle. Find a flat, clearance-friendly section of your mid or rear exhaust pipe to replace with the valve muffler.
2. Welding: Measure and cut the factory pipe. Professional TIG/MIG welding is highly recommended to secure the muffler inlets and outlets firmly without exhaust leaks.
3. Power Routing: Route the 12V power adapter through the vehicle cabin body plugs into the center console cigarette lighter socket.
4. Wiring & Actuation: Run the wire harness along the undercarriage away from direct high-heat components (like the exhaust manifold or catalytic converter) and connect it safely to the pneumatic valve actuator.

• Professional Required: Do not attempt to install this product using clamps or tape. It must be welded into place by a professional exhaust technician.
• Heat Clearance: Keep all electrical wires and control lines at least 6 inches (15cm) away from moving suspension parts and high-temperature exhaust pipes to prevent melting or tearing.

MEASUREMENT CONFIRMATION

1. Measure Your Exhaust Pipe OD: Use a digital caliper to measure the Outside Diameter (OD) of your vehicle's current exhaust piping. Choose the matching option from our 2", 2.5", 2.75", 3", or 3.5" sizes.
2. Check Under-Car Clearance: Ensure there is sufficient physical width, length, and height clearance underneath your chassis to accommodate the dual-bypass muffler body shape.
3. Confirm Piping Alignment: Note that this muffler utilizes an offset/center multi-port design. Verify your original layout can accommodate the geometry of this unit.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE

• Issue: The valve does not open or close when the remote button is pressed.
  • Solution 1: Check the LED indicator on the wireless remote. If it is dim or unlit, replace the remote control battery.
  • Solution 2: Ensure the 12V car charger power adapter is pushed securely into the socket and that the power indicator light on the adapter is glowing.
  • Solution 3: Check all wiring harness connectors between the controller and the muffler valve to ensure they are fully clipped together and dry.
• Issue: There is a rattling noise coming from the muffler when driving.
  • Solution: Check for physical contact between the muffler body/valve linkage and the vehicle's chassis or heat shields. Adjust the rubber exhaust hangers to increase clearance if necessary.
