This universal single inlet single outlet electric valved muffler comes with full electric valve controller and remote kit, available in 201/304 stainless steel, and multiple inlet diameter options for custom exhaust fabrication.

This valve muffler is widely adopted for custom catback exhaust modification. It is fitted with electric valve actuator, allowing drivers to toggle exhaust sound via wireless remote. When valve closes, it delivers a quiet and comfortable tone for daily commute. When valve opens, it releases deep, aggressive sport exhaust note. Mirror polished stainless surface offers outstanding visual effect. Installation Guide & Precautions

1. Mechanical & Welding Safety 

• Professional Installation Required: This is a universal weld-on performance parts. Professional welding (TIG welding highly recommended) and custom piping installation by an experienced exhaust shop are required.
• Clearance Check: Before permanent welding, mock up the muffler under the vehicle to ensure at least 1.5 - 2 inches of clearance from the car body, heat shields, fuel lines, and suspension components to prevent heat damage.
• Flow Direction: Ensure the muffler is oriented in the correct exhaust gas flow direction. Install with the single inlet facing the engine side and the twin outlet facing the rear.

2. Electrical & Wiring Connections 

• Voltage Compatibility: This electronic system is strictly designed for DC 12V automotive electrical systems only. Do not connect to 24V commercial trucks.
  
• Heat & Vibration Protection: Route the actuator wiring harness safely away from high-heat zones (like the exhaust pipes themselves) and moving suspension parts. Secure cables with heat-resistant zip ties.
  
• Waterproof Measures: Although the motor and connectors have basic weather resistance, ensure the control module box is installed in a dry location inside the vehicle (e.g., cabin or trunk) to prevent water ingress.

3. System Testing & Operation

• Pre-Check Before Welding: Connect the control box, wiring, and cigarette lighter/power source before final welding to test if the remote control fully opens and closes the valves smoothly.
  
• Exhaust Gas Seal: Ensure all welded joints are 100% sealed. Any exhaust leaks near the valve mechanism can cause abnormal rattling noises and reduce backpressure efficiency.
  
• Breaking-In Period: It is normal to smell a slight burning odor during the first few miles of driving. This is the protective coating curing inside the new perforated stainless steel baffle core.
  

Trouble-Shooting Guide

1.Valve Not Responding:

• Check if the blue LED indicator on the remote control lights up (replace battery if dim).
• Verify the cigarette lighter power plug or 12V power source is firmly connected and the fuse is intact.

2.Abnormal Rattle or Noise:

• Ensure there is sufficient clearance between the valve actuator motor and the car chassis.
• Check for any pebble or welding slag stuck inside the perforated baffle chamber.

3.Intermittent Signal:

• Do not shield the receiver control box behind heavy metal sheets. Extend the small antenna wire for better wireless reception.
