MEASUREMENT CONFIRMATION

1. Pipe Outside Diameter (OD) Check: Use a digital caliper to measure the exact Outside Diameter (OD) of your mid-pipe or existing rear exhaust inlet line. Select the matching size from our variants: 2", 2.5", 2.75", 3", or 3.5".
2. Dual Cavity Space Check: Because this kit comes with two complete large-body mufflers, check your vehicle’s bumper rear cutouts and under-car pockets. Ensure ample physical width, depth, and height clearance to avoid proximity contact with suspension arms, differential housings, or plastic bumper tabs.

INSTALLATION GUIDE & PRECAUTIONS

1. Mock-Up Positioning: Safely hoist the car. Support the left and right valved mufflers underneath the vehicle chassis pockets to accurately map out custom pipe routing and check clearance.
2. Custom Weld Fabrication: Cut out the factory restrictive tail mufflers. Weld the new inlet and outlet lines smoothly onto your exhaust tract. Professional TIG or MIG continuous bead welding is mandatory.
3. Vacuum Hose Plumb: Connect the high-temperature blue silicone hose to the vacuum brass nipple on both actuators. Use the included brass T-connector to merge them into a single vacuum line, then run it through a floor rubber grommet into the vehicle interior.
4. Control Module Hookup: Secure the blue control pump safely inside a dry cabin environment (like the trunk corner). Link the blue silicone hose to the pump nozzle and plug the 12V harness into your car's lighter socket.
5. System Operation Check: Start the engine, toggle the remote control buttons, and confirm that both vacuum butterfly valves respond immediately and in perfect synchronization.

• Thermal Mitigation Protocol: Ensure the blue silicone vacuum hose is tucked and tightly zip-tied far away from the hot muffler casing or exhaust pipes. Melting the hose will create a vacuum leak, causing the valves to lock up or malfunction.
• Keep Control Box Isolated: The blue vacuum box must stay inside the trunk or cabin. Do not install it under the chassis where it faces direct rain, water puddles, or flying gravel.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE

• Q: The remotes fail to activate the system, and the blue control box displays no signs of electrical life.
  • A: Verify that the 12V adapter is firmly pushed down into the socket and your vehicle’s accessory ignition is on. Unscrew the front locking tip of the cigarette adapter plug to check if the internal glass fuse has ruptured; swap it with an identical amp fuse if blown.
• Q: The box powers up and pump hums, but only one valve actuates or they open very slowly.
  • A: Inspect the blue silicone hose run. Check for sharp kinks, pinches from body panels, or hot spots where the line may have melted against the exhaust pipe. Ensure the brass T-connector ends are clipped on air-tightly.
• Q: There is an exhaust ticking rattle or puffing leak sound when the valves are clamped tightly shut.
  • A: Visually check all newly welded seams on both mufflers for micro pinholes or weak welds. If the welds are intact, inspect inside the valve throats for any internal weld splatter or road debris preventing the flaps from resting perfectly flush on their machined internal seats.
