Professional Installation Notes & Tips
- Professional Installation Highly Recommended: Exhaust header replacement can be complex and requires specialized tools. We strongly recommend having this product installed by a certified mechanic or a professional exhaust shop.
- Engine Cooling Time: Always ensure the vehicle has cooled down completely (at least 2-3 hours after driving) before beginning the installation. The factory exhaust manifold reaches extreme temperatures and can cause severe burns.
- O2 Sensor Handling: Be extremely careful when removing and reinstalling the factory oxygen (O2) sensors. Do not drop them or touch the sensor tips. Always apply a thin layer of anti-seize lubricant to the O2 sensor threads before threading them into the new header.
