DESCRIPTION
This cold air intake kit equipped with heat shield upgrades the stock restrictive intake assembly, optimizes airflow, minimizes heat soak and delivers sharper throttle response for BMW N55 3.0L turbo vehicles.
Constructed with 89mm mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe, black powder-coated heat shield and reusable high-flow cone filter. The dedicated heat barrier separates the filter from hot engine bay air to stabilize intake temperature. Built based on factory chassis data for direct bolt-on installation without cutting or modification. Smooth internal tubing reduces airflow turbulence, improves turbo spool speed, creates a sporty induction tone and unlocks improved engine performance for daily driving and track tuning.
